The longhouse stands as the cultural heart of Wahous Wilderness Lodge: a place of gathering, storytelling and shared experiences. Inspired by the rich traditions of the nuučaan̓uɫ (Nuu-chah-nulth), the warm cedar space is anchored by a striking copper fireplace and grounded by slate floors, natural elements that echo the strength and beauty of our sacred hahoulthee (territory).
It is here, overlooking ancient Quait Bay, that our events are hosted and traditions are respectfully shared with guests, reflecting the cultural significance of coming together not as performance, but as living culture.
